Rare LP by this renowned Ivorian group, and certainly one that strongly differs from all I heard by them. Except for one soukous track, the 3 other songs are long, hybrid tunes, with obvious afrobeat & latin influences in the rhythm & horn riffs, but still sounding deeply Ivorian afro pop. Instrumental soli are given full attention, and should definitely fit the straight African music fans after jazz approaches to soloing, or the hybrid afro funky pop enthusiasts. Sleeve strong general dirt wear, fading of the colour on front, aging. Record is very slightly noisy but plays really well.
